Interestingly, few people know what soap really is and how it is made. Soaps are made by combining lye, animal fats and/or vegetable oils, and water in a process known as saponification.

Welcome to our site where we talk about handmade, soaps, candles, scrubs, body butters, and other beauty products made purely from natural botanicals and essential oil products. Here you can post ideas, comments and resources. If you are a soap maker, please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas. Let's began a new journey of learning together!
